That's a great message if you're a big-picture kind of person, but if you're more of a details person like I am, you probably want to know everything to expect along this journey of hiring me to be your wedding photographer... and you're in the right place! Let me detail the entire process for you.

Fill out the contact form on my website and then follow the link to book a video chat with me! I'm a one-woman show with a family and a homestead, and I make work/life balance a priority, so if your date is already booked, I'll reach out with a list of amazing colleagues ASAP, and if you can't find a time that works for you on my scheduler, feel free to email me and we'll figure it out together. :)

VIDEO CHAT
This call serves as a chance to get to know each other, ask questions and give details, and for both of us to check the vibe and make sure we'd be a good fit. Your photographer will likely be with you more than your spouse on your wedding day, so it's SO important to make sure you trust your photographer and actually like them as a person. It also gives me a chance to hear what you're looking for and tell you exactly how many hours of photography you'll need to cover the events you want preserved forever.

CONTRACT & RETAINER
After our chat, I'll know exactly what you're looking for and I'll send you a contract and invoice for your chosen package. After you sign the contract and pay your retainer, you are officially booked!

QUESTIONNAIRE
Yes, I’m going to give you homework as soon as you decide to work with me. It's not Calculus, I promise (although, being a former tutor for kids K-12, I could assign this to you if you want). I want to know you and your boo before your engagement session. Oversharing is not a concern here!

TIMELINE CREATION
I was a DIY bride back in the day, but the one piece of the puzzle that I was NOT prepared to tackle was the timeline. I've experienced all kinds of timelines and know what works and what doesn't, so don't feel afraid to put this in my hands. I'll use my expertise to optimize your shooting time, add in buffer time just in case the unexpected happens, and ensure you and your future spouse have time to relax and truly take in the day before it's over in the blink of an eye.

Engagement session

Think of your engagement session as practice for your wedding day. We'll all get some hands-on experience so I can learn what prompts and poses you like, get to know you two like the back of my hand, and you can practice being in front of a camera so things feel more natural on your wedding day. No cheugy photos here--I focus on a combination of editorial and documentary-style posing for a more natural look. Awkward and traditional photos are available upon request.

Sneak peeks will be delivered within 24-48 hours of your session and your full gallery will be delivered to you within 1 month.

Final Countdown

FINAL PAYMENT
The remainder of your package balance is due one month before your wedding day. You can feel free to add on services and coverage hours or completely upgrade your package anytime before this!

FINAL CALL
A couple of weeks before your wedding, we'll get another video call on the books. This is your chance to tell me exactly what you're envisioning for your day and share the most important moments and details. We'll go over your timeline, locations, family photo combination list, my own curated tips and tricks to ensure a smooth wedding day, and more during this meeting.

I'm all about offering a no-stress day to my couples. By choosing your photographer wisely, you're putting the documentation of your most special moments in the hands of someone you trust, and someone you actually like being around.

Don’t worry about keeping track of time–I have it all taken care of. And if we’re running late, it's okay–I wrote in some buffer time into your timeline and we're just going to roll with the punches. If something unexpected happens, you'd better believe it'll make its way into your final gallery.

I love including a handful of images from each part of your day so you can relive it while it's fresh and get super hyped for the rest of your photos!

FULL GALLERY
All of your photos will be delivered to you within 2 months of your wedding day. I like to get them out a lot faster, but this timeline allows for me to truly perfect your images.

WEDDING ALBUM
Since all of my packages include a wedding album designed by me, you can expect this to be delivered straight to your door within 1 month of your gallery delivery.
